What’s The Boss?

I was going thru the chiefs’ mail today and found a letter in there about a yearly Lecture in Rotterdam. It informed him that this year’s Lecture is to be held on September 28 and he is invited, as always, and would he please put the date in his schedule for now.

This year’s lecture will be about obesity and will be called “XXL, ethical and medical aspects of obesity

I put the letter in the stuff that he had to go thru this morning and a few hours later I got the stack of mail back with notes on them what to do with ‘m.

The aforementioned letter had a note with two remarks on them:

*blank stare*

I’m glad he said it himself… It wasn’t me! This is what I have to work with for a boss…

*sigh*

Aww :) I hope he can lose weight before then. It’s one of my goals too. No lecture to go to, just fed up.

Was he telling you that he wants you to monitor his diet, because then you deserve a raise

At least he’s not a boring boss, or so it seems.
I had a smile as I read his note. It was a bit like an alcoholic (sorry for the comparison) willing to join a AA group and aiming quitting drinking before joining LOL

BTW (nosey question): do you and your boss use English language at work? Just wondering because of the note.

Rache: He’s been trying for years now, but somehow refusing to discontinue his regular drinking and eating pattern is working against him…

Libragirl: I fucking hope not! I WOULD deserve a big big raise of so!

FroggyWoogie: Yeah, it does seem a bit like that, LOL. And though we do speak 80% English with our business contacts, we don’t between us. The note was translated for your courtesy, I’m cool like that…

Ask him if he’d like to be an exhibit instead of worrying about a diet.

Marty: I’d ask him, but I am pretty sure the answer would be “No”…

How interesting you wrote about this. I just watched Supersize Me this past weekend. I don’t think I will be eating any fast food for quite some time. It is quite sad America has become the fattest country in the world.

AndiMac: Well, make no mistake. Obesity is a worldwide problem. Not just US based, it’s spreading all over. It’s a perfect example of a prosperity disease, as medical researchers like to call it… And ehm… Supersize Me múst be the ickiest movie I ever saw!

I used to have a doctor who kept telling me that I HAD to quit smoking. Then one day he was puffing away while he was out of the office. I don’t want advice on losing weight cooming from an overweight doctor either! ( Although, depending on the man, I do like a ‘Buddha Belly’ sometimes)

Metalmom: Buddha Belly… ha! No such thing! Fortunately he’s a researcher and not seeing patients! hahaha

That’s funny…it’s nice when a boss isn’t “all business”.

Tug: Surely is.

Finn: You are very welcome

Miss Britt: Yeah, a sense of humor he does have, for sure! :-)

I here cigarettes are a good way to shed pounds. That, and widely accepted by the Dutch community.

I am a huge twit. I am so sorry. I was wondering why you weren’t updating and then I checked my link and realized that it was because I hadn’t changed it. Which I thought I had. I am a dork. Sorry.

I need to lose some weight too. I tried scheduling my 40th birthday to make me lose weight in anticipation, but that didn’t work. I need something else now and I am NOT waiting until I am 50.

»DutchBitch said: { Jun 27, 2007 - 07:06:41 }

Jay: He’s been a smoker all along. Don’t make a difference. And not that widely accepted. We have smoking bans in every public building and starting november in every bar and restaurant as well. So there you go! ;-)

Shelli: LOL, that’s ok. You are back now, aren’t you? And you’ll do it in the weight thing, you will! If I can do it, anyone can!
