First things first, to all my American friends: Happy Turkey Day!!!

And then on to the meaning of the title of this post. It’s gonna be a bit cryptic as I want to respect some privacy for the person I am rooting for but here goes:

Someone very dear to me is going through a very rough time. It’s a fellow blogger who has not been sharing much of this on their blog, as they don’t want to be all whiny all the time, but trust me: this person is not in a good place right now.

My heart goes out to this person & family and I want to do something for them in these difficult times, especially as there are children involved and there is Christmas coming up, which could turn out to be all sucky and empty for them this year.

If you have not already gotten an email from me (because most of you have yesterday and have filled my heart with joy on the way this blogging community is once again pulling together, you are all so awesome, you totally rawk!) and you want to hear more and possibly help out, drop me a line. The email addy is in the sidebar right underneath that hot picture of yours truly.

I am not asking for anything for myself but for someone else who really deserves it. Spreading the Christmas spirit this way is good enough for getting into the Christmas spirit myself this time ’round.
