Say “yes” to Child Labor

So… it’s getting colder over here… I am freezing my ass off in bed at night… I blame the weather, ánd The Guy, cuz he should be here warming my ass up really…

Still, admittedly it’s probably mostly the weather that is to blame…

The time has come to put the winter duvet on my bed… the time has come to crank up the central heating at home… the time has come to drag my sweaters and warm coats out of the closet… and…

The time has come to resort to child labor again…

Srsly! You can’t expect me to get up even earlier than I already do to do that myself, can you? Sheesh!

What do you think I am? Superwoman?

I think child labour is absolutely fine!! At least you drive The Kid to school afterhe scrapes the car – mine scrape the car and then have to walk or cycle
PS Bluepaintred – I read your comment and then my capture word was “toast”

If I had a kid and erm, actual snow? I’d so “let” him scrape the ice off of my car.

What’s wrong with that? At least he gets the priviledge to warm himself up. Tell him he’s so lucky he doesn’t even know it

That looks like a fair trade. The Kid wants a ride to school…. he has to scrape the car.

I think of it as the parental circle of life!

That’s not child labor; that’s the way the universe is supposed to work. Both of our cars live in a garage so the kids escape the scrape. However, the driveway is 125 feet long. Where’s that snow shovel?
