Yeah, so, if you follow me on Twitter, you might have noticed… I have a stalker… again… I am not sure if it is the same phonestalker I had bother me a few months ago, or a brandnew one (whoopdeedoo) but he’s here…
It started a few days ago… I started getting weird phone calls again… at night… on my cellphone… Heavy breathing when I picked up, or just silence, or stuff like “cunt” or “whore”…
So I decided to shut off my cellphone for a while. I did that last time, after The Guy suggested I’d do that, and at the time it worked. It didn’t this time. Hell No, it didn’t. Because he immediately switched to my landline. My UNREGISTERED landline. A phone number that I hardly give out. That is only given out to immediate family, close friends and The Kid’s school and daycare. And then when the next day I alsó found a note in my mailbox saying “I will call again tonight“… I broke down… Because that means he not only knows my phonenumbers, but also where I live…
It all has scared the fuck out of me in the past week… I am pretty sure this means that it’s either someone I know or someone that has access to information through people I know…
I went to the police and they basically told me to “wait it out for a bit” as usually “after a while they give up“. Well, ex-cu-se me! That is fucking easy for a big stocky pumped up GUY police officer to say! I was furious! I am not easily scared. I am not a drama queen. I already reported having a phone stalker before. Sheesh! What do they need? A knife in my chest with a note attached “Kind Regards, Stalker Was Here“?
Fortunately I have an ex-cop girlfriend who used to work at the station here in town. I called her, she called her ex-colleagues, which resulted in me finally yesterday going to the policestation to have this thing investigated. They are now monitoring my phonelines and taking their surveillance past my apartmentbuilding as much as they can. And have told me all the do’s and don’ts in this situation.
I have forbidden every family member, friend and colleague to give out any information about me if anyone they don’t know asks. I try to go about my business as usual as much as I can, but looking over my shoulder 10 times as much as I used to. I let my family know when I go out, I let them know where I am going, I let them know when I’ve departed and again when I’ve arrived.
I am a mix of scared and totally pissed off that I have to change my lifestyle because some sick fuck has decided to invade my life. I hate feeling like this! Don’t worry. I will be careful. I know to go stay somewhere else when my gutt feeling tells me to. I know to not go home alone late at night.
And I probably blew his eardrum when he called last night (cuz he did keep his promise and called again)… I blew the whistle on him… I mean, literally. I took one of the nasty loud whistle toys from The Kid and blew it at him as loud as I could when he called. I think I heard him drop his phone and then I lost connection. I hope he’s deaf in one ear now. Fucker! He didn’t call back, so aside from having been working until 2.30 a.m., I finally got a few hours of sleep last night.
No worries, I will take good care of myself and be very careful. And I’ll keep you posted if they catch the bastard. Shit, I am só angry. What the fuck gives any person the right to invade another persons life like that!
So Mr Piece of Shit. If you are listening, I have a message for you. You are NOT gonna get to me. I am NOT letting you. And you are a fucking piece of shit! You are THIS tiny *pointing out very tiny* to me. If this is what you need to feel superior and powerful, you deserve to have your balls cut off!

If this stalker is also one of your readers he already knows your telephone lines are being monitored by now.
A good tip is to have your lines temporarily redirected to a male friend. That usually stops these fuckers pretty quick.

As I’m sure you already know a stalker is all about power. The power is in scaring you enough that you make a mistake. Some other thoughts: Ask you son about any friends that might pull something like this or if any of the father’s of your kid’s friends might be a bit of a weirdo. Kids are pretty perceptive and may pick up on things you may not have noticed. I do agree with Froggy above that if this person is someone that reads this then they know what’s going on. It might be wise to keep major details off the internet for the time being. Most importantly just be careful. I don’t know what Dutch laws are but I feel a lot safer in my apartment with my Glock. Stay safe and hopefully this will all be resolved soon.

I’m sorry you are having your life disrupted like this. Most of these losers are harmless – they just get off on scaring you. However, people have been killed by stalkers so you are right to be careful. It sounds like you are making the right moves for now. Just keep your eye out. If you get a name that you are 100% sure of, make sure you put it up on your site along with phone numbers, e-mail addresses, anything you can find out so all of us can treat him to a little attention, too.

Can’t have my lines redirected while being monitored, and besides: for The Kid I need to be available thru phone. So we’ll see.
