You would NOT want to see my husband wrap a present. You would never recover from the trauma.

So I’m stuck wrapping gifts for family and he does Santa’s wrapping for him because the kids are less critical. I don’t think they even notice the wrapping AT ALL on Christmas morning.

Back in school, our marching band would raise money by wrapping Christmas gifts during the holiday season at local stores. My mother had taught me how to wrap a gift like you described... folding the edges, making the paper tight, small bits of tape and a lovely bow. I was always in demand by shoppers whereas my compatriots were never busy when it came to gift wrapping. It is sad to see what passes for wrapping now a days! Oh I am totally with you on this one. Gift wrapping is NOT hard but it does take a little attention to detail, something people seem to run out of at Christmas!
