Yeah, it’s bullets, deal with it…

  • I went to the Bloodbank yesterday and was nearly excluded from giving blood this time ’round as my Hb was at the low-limit for giving blood. I usually have a pretty high Hb so that’s kinda shocking. It also explains why I’ve been so fucking tired lately.
  • What is even more shocking is that my bloodpressure was at the high-level, while I usually have a pretty low bloodpressure. I think my body is definetely telling me to slow the fuck down. Guess it’s no surprise I was feeling “edgy” all the time.
  • There was the cutest girl at the bloodbank, 3 yrs old, who kept asking tons of questions about all the equipment I was hooked up to while her Mom recovered from fainting, poor woman.
  • Stalker guy is still around. His calls and other shit are diminishing in frequency. I hope that means he’s losing interest. He was spotted at my mailbox yesterday by the downstairs neighbour (yeah, I got another note) so the cops now have a pretty good description of him. He doesn’t sound like anyone I know. Not sure if that is a good or a bad thing.
  • There’s another 2 weeks of working at the office before Xmas break. There is SO much work still to do that I have no idea how to work that into the 2 weeks of the year that are left. Pretty sure I’ll be working from home during Xmas break…
  • I finished the thesis lay out from h.e.l.l. This was definitely the worst I have ever done. You would think that someone who is such a perfectionist would also carefully plan their work. No such thing. I think that’s a deadly combination: a sloppy inefficient perfectionist… Holy Shit!
  • Sinterklaas-evening was a blast. I got some great presents and most importantly we had fun together as a family.
  • Spending the first holiday of the season with my family makes me miss The Guy all the more. Even though I had fun, my heart is aching for him more and more. He’s having the toughest time right now. The company he works for is struggling which means all he does nowadays is basically work work work. Not leaving much time for us to catch up. I so feel for him and the lump in my stomach about missing him is growing day by day. I know it can’t be helped right now, not by him, nor me, nor anyone, but this holiday season is not gonna be an easy ride for either of us… I miss him… incredibly… Even though weeks are flashing by, being with my honey seems further away than ever. And it sucks…
  • Today me and The Kid will be spending our day running some errands (amongst which throwing ourselves into an IKEA store on SATURDAY, so pray for us) ánd *drumroll* setting up the Christmas tree! Most of my Dutch friends will think I am insane as it’s not really “done” around here to do it that early, but I need some holiday cheer in the house, desperately. I don’t want to be spending the rest of this year in a funk.
  • There will not be any gifts under the Xmas tree this year. I can’t afford both Sinterklaas, The Kid’s birthday ánd Christmas, but I am sure we’ll have fun anyway! Even just having the tree up and getting out and receiving Christmas cards will be great.

Have a great Saturday! I will try and get around to replying to the questions you asked me about The Dutch a few weeks ago. Life has been cuh-razy and I still haven’t gotten around to it, but I’ll make a start over the weekend!

ha..ha.ha… okay, it’s just sad that I’m so tickled by the fact that you have IKEA. I mean, yeah, I logically I KNOW it’s from over there, but it never really sunk in that you would actually have the STORES there. hee..hee.. I’m such a doofus sometimes!!!!! :silly:

You and I should start a “WTF” club Dutchie! I just dropped another $1,000 on my car for brake and brake related matters. Plus my car insurance is due this month ($725), plus my license plate registration and car tax is due next month ($245), plus my home renters insurance is due next month ($134). X-mas this year will be me having a car to drive and a roof over my head. Food is optional at this point. …sigh….

Cinnkittys last blog post..Yeah, you **WISH** you were me!

Cinnkitty: LOL on the Ikea thing! I think we had them before you guys did. I don’t remember the pre-Ikea world to be honest. And it sucks, huh? Well, we work with what we have. You DID get a whiff of the great butt cleavage though!!! I saw that much on your blog, heehee!

I’m glad you had a good time with the family last night. You need many more nights like that.

gingermagnolia: Welllll, with The Mom’s birthday on the 10th, The Kid’s birthday on the 16th, The Kid’s school Christmas celebration on the 18th, Christmas and NYE, there’s plenty of chance to get that right

Here’s a tip, if you want to have a lower blood pressure during the test, stop thinking about me. I know you’re doing it. ;-)

Well my stalker must have given up. That or the two big bikers, (female), that I sent to reason with her maybe erased her phone list. I’m afraid to ask

I don’t know where you got the shot of three .38/.357 rounds. You could have talked to me, and I’d have sent you a shot of .45/70 or .50 BMG rounds. It’s all about the size in my world too.
