Out with the OLD, in with the NEW!
OK, so I know I’ve been whining about my job being excruciatingly busy over the past 1.5 year, due to me being responsible in a BIG way for the building of new offices for our department, 2 floors down from our current location. And the upcoming move in September… Well, technically its not whining cuz I háve been working my ass off.. and I don’t do whining.. just justified complaining… but I digress…
I just had inspection of the new offices on Thursday and decided to do a video to show you the old and the new dig. Apologies for the video-quality. I had to do it with my mobile cam and then after uploading to YouTube it looked even less sharp then it did at first.
So first the “out with the old” video… Those are the old offices that we are currently using which reaaaally are former patient rooms… for which I had to fight a huge battle before moving here at the time (about 6 yrs ago) cuz they even refused to remove the bed-curtains and TV brackets *rolling eyes*

Yeah, so that’s the old… the former patients-rooms-gone-offices that we are moving out of soon…
On to the still empty NEW offices! I really can’t wait to move there! Seriously!!! Well, technically other people will be moving it all there as MY ass will be in Chapel Hill/Raleigh for work purposes and hopefully see The Guy …heh. Have not yet publically dropped the “DutchBitch will not be present during the actual move-bomb” over here yet, but I will have to soon… I am sure thát will provide some blogfodder…

And for the record I really like your voice/accent. I’ve never heard anyone from The Netherlands before.

I know what you mean about the voice. When I worked for an ad agency they used to make me do radio voiceovers (so they didn’t have to pay pro talent) from time to time. I’d run into the other room on playback! But you sound just fine — and familiar for some reason.
