Smile to the left, smile to the right

Shit… it’s Wednesdayevening and as I do every day I am trying to think of something to write for tomorrow (which is by now today)…

There’s nothing really that I have right now… But not for any bad reason…I am in a happy place, feeling good, there’s no rant in me right now. There’s mostly good stuff… The Kid came home yesterday after a 10 day skiing trip with The Ex, so my motherheart is filled with joy right now… I had some mini-retail therapy: I bought myself a nice showermousse and some facial masks that were on sale, to start taking care of myself a little bit better. I am back to eating healthy and have already lost 2 lbs.

And other than that…

Look to the left, to yesterday’s post: I am still basking in the joy of getting to go to ConFab, Baby! and have had a huge smile on my face since about Tuesday p.m. when “our” plan finally came together after I smoothed over everything with The Chief and The Ex and could tell Mr Fab and Turnbaby that it was ON! I am so fucking excited about that and all the peeps that I will get to meet. I wish it was departure day already!

Look to the right, it’s mah birthday tomorrow! I am looking forward to that too. As I get to be out of the office for the afternoon. The medical center gives you half a day off when it’s your birthday. I never did so but I’ll be damned if my ass is gonna be in the office tomorrow afternoon. Then I get to pick up The Kid from school, bake an apple pie, and cook dinner and get to spend my birthday with The Kid, The Sis, The BIL, The Lill Niece and The Mom! I love being with them, I love cooking and oh well, I’ll get over the turning 39 bit… I guess…

So yeah, I am feeling good… I am starting to snap out of the funk and taking care of myself.. It’s time to move on… * Suh-Quee *
