So seriously? Which one of you fuckers set live to “warp speed”? It’s April 1! We just went through the first quarter of 2009. What’s with the goddamn speed that life is flashing by in? Sheesh!
Wasn’t it just a few days ago that it was New Years Eve? It was, wasn’t it? I keep wanting to close my eyes and then find out that it’s really only just January… But the flowers popping up in the bulbfields… The birds courting eachother… The tourists flocking to this bulb field area of Dutchyland… The temperatures getting above freezing… The medical center administration nagging me for the first quarter financial summary for the department… The Kid’s school sending out letters on Outdoor Sports Day and shit. They’re all undeniable signs that it is indeed already the start of the 2nd quarter of 2009…
I just can’t fucking believe it. What’s up with that! What’s up with the fucking warp speed? I am not ready for the first 3 months of this year already being gone! Gawddamn!

Some people at work today were saying that it was the end of the year. And I thought, fuck, it’s Xmas again? But then I realised they meant End of Financial Year.

That time warp thing is a sure sign of aging. I turn 45 next week but just last year I was still in my 30′s, I swear. You’ll find out soon enough Miss I’ll-be-40-next-year. Next month is more like it.
