One of my looong time bloggy friends is Tug. She used to have a personal blog, but today I am pimping her photoblog Tug’s Photos.

Another incredibly talented photographer in our tiny corner of the blogosphere that deserves a huge audience. Now, I don’t have the arrogance to think that my pimping will render her thousands more readers, but even if some of you would be set on the trail of her photoblog that would be wonderful. Because she deserves it. And you deserve to enjoy her wonderful photos.

I photograph a lot, and I like doing so, but I couldn’t hold a candle to the likes of photographers as this woman is. I look at their photographs and think “how the hell do they do it?!” and “how the freck did they think of doing it thát way, from thát angle“. Yeah, I am pretty sure I won’t ever reach that particular level, but I am trying. Practise makes perfect, huh?

Today, the picture on her blog is very fitting a shot of Mt Rushmore. Click on “Archives” in the upper right corner of her photoblog to get an overview of all the other wonderful pics that are on there. Trust me, you should. One is as beautiful as the other and the next, and the next. I don’t know about you, but looking at beautiful, yet simple, photographs -the best photography there is, as far as I am concerned: beautiful in it’s simplicity- always puts a huge smile on my face.

So on this glorious 4th of July I am setting you all free to go visit Tug’s Photos. Hey! I know Independence Day when I see it! Ha! Go over there, enjoy the beautiful pictures, have them put a smile on your face and then please bring that smile back over here. I like seeing smiley faces. I do!
