Yeah, I am all over the place. For several reasons these first 2 weeks of summer break with The Kid have been way busier than I planned them to be. Not in the least because of some shit going down at the office that I had to jump into and avoid it getting worse… So I can’t do a coherent post today. So what better than * drumroll * bulleting!!!

• Yesterday was Friday 13th. I know, I know! You THINK it was a regular Friday July 24, but trust me, it was a 13th
• First I found out that I forgot to take some meds in the past few days, so great… sigh… fuck up #1
• Then The Kid stated, when I was walking ’round the car “Mom, careful you’ll…” yeah and then it was too late and I actually stepped in a big fat warm steamy dog turd for the first time in ummm.. 10 years… fuck up #2
• Then I cooked a fab Spaghetti Bolognese and after finishing it dropped a batch of the sauce on my carpet in the hallway… that would be my OFF WHITE carpet… fuck up #3
• There is a huge pile of laundry waiting for me… Why do Mom’s never really have a complete break from everything? * pout *
• I watched some serious car crash twittering going on over the last few days. Someone who actually thought we were all stupid and we would believe he was actually 3 people. Yeah, DUH -> Not stupid!
• I gained some great new real life Twitter friends though, while watching the car crash twittering take place, and I pissed myself laughing with all of them!
• I’ve noticed that sales people have a hard time with decisive clients: “Can I just get a brochure?” – “I can make a quotation for you” – “No thanks, I first just want a brochure, do you have one?“- “we do, but a quotation only takes 30 secs” – “Though I doubt it takes 30 secs, I believe you that it won’t take long but I don’t want a quotation, I JUST want a brochure” – “Well but with a quotation..” – pushing sales guy aside “Is this the brochure? It is? Thanks, I’ll take this. Bye!“
• I am starting to miss my DVD player. It is at The BIL’s who is trying to fix it (he already fixed the Wii!) after the thunderstorm damage. I never thought I would start to miss it, but I do.
• I figured if The BIL can’t fix it I’ll replace it with a DVD-R so I can record stuff from TV again. Haven’t been able to do that for years.
• This just in: Arrogance is not attractive. The other day I was talking to some guy who told me that he’s “dangerously charming and women have a hard time controlling themselves around him” (yes, he actually said that about himself). Dude, I sat next to you for over an hour and neither me nor any of the other 14 or so women around suffered from that. You might want to reassess the situation here.
• That’s it… I know… not much… and it sucked… but that’s all I have for you… Maybe tomorrow will be better… Maybe not…
