I am getting so tired of the booty calls from guys that I have clearly informed that I am NOT (N.O.T.) available for them. I have long time ago made a point of ignoring text message, or emails of that kind, so I did just that when I got one from a Serial Booty Caller yesterday.
But crap! I found myself at a business related reception early evening and he was there as well. There is no use trying to avoid him, as he somehow has a radar for me, and also because I really don’t feel like going all MacGyver-y during the reception and have everyone wonder WTH is wrong with me.
So I just ignored him, as usual, and went about my business talking to the guest of honor and some colleagues from other institutes and departments. And then in the corner of my eye I could see him moving around the group that I was in, and * poof * suddenly he was standing behind me.
Serial Booty Caller: “Hello”
DutchBitch: “Hello”
SBC: “Didn’t you see me earlier?”
DB: “I did”
SBC: “So why didn’t you come up to me?”
DB: “Because this is business for me and because I didn’t feel like it”
* slowly moving myself and consequently him away from the group *
SBC: “Sooo, I texted you earlier”
DB: “Yes, I saw that”
SBC: “Soooo, you never replied”
DB: “Well, by not replying I actually díd reply”
SBC: “What?”
DB: “The fact that I didn’t reply is your answer right there”
SBC: “So, what does that mean? No?”
DB: “Yes, and you know that perfectly well. I have told you numerous times that I am not up for your booty calls and shit. Not yours nor any man’s. So it’s fine if you feel like you should keep at it, but you will not get any reply from me on texts like that”
SBC: “Yeah, I know, I know. I just thought you might make an exception”
DB: “I don’t make exceptions.You know me long enough and well enough to know that I mean what I say”
SBC: “I really don’t get it. You are single, so why not have sex every now and then just for fun? I really don’t understand”
DB: “Well, you don’t háve to get it. Cos, ya know, it is MY life and MY decision. You just need to respect it”
SBC: “So what, have you gone off sex? I remember when you were …”
* kicking SBC in the shins *
DB: “Shut up. I am here for business and I do not owe you any explanation. So Shut The Fuck up and leave me in peace. If you can’t be my friend, without all the sex stuff and insinuations, then fine, don’t be. Just fucking finally respect what I tell you and do not fucking booty call me all the time. Find someone else”
SBC: “But I don’t want to find someone else. I want you”
DB: “Tough shit”
* strutted off back into the reception and never looked back *
Seriously…some men… ass wipes!

I am constantly amazed at the capacity for rejection that some men (and some women, too) have. If you tell them to fuck off 1,000 times, they are certain that, when they ask the 1,001st time, you will rip off your clothes and ravage them. I can’t tell if it is stupidity or arrogance but, either way, these are genes that don’t need to be passed on.
