TGIF *happy dance*

Thank God it’s Friday!

My first full week at the office with finally all the bosses back (I was there last week but half of the faculty was still off or at conferences), had to get loads of stuff done in the 2nd job as well, I enrolled in a training course that will keep me busy for a year to come, ánd it was The Kid’s first week in high school… It’s been a rollercoaster week, both physically and emotionally.

So time for a *happy dance* which I am going to do to this funky song I heard for the first time 2 days ago.

Cee Lo Green "Fuck You"

Have a good Friday!!!

DutchBitch: “Umm, sorry? Where did you get that from?
The Kid: “It’s on one of my DSi games and I loooooveee it! Can you put it on the iTouch, please?

* crickets *

* more crickets *

* Aaarrrrrrrrrrrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! *

I don’t care what you do. Stab me, shoot me, strangle me, smother me…

Just K.I.L.L. M.E. N.O.W.

I thought, over 20 years on, I had finally gotten rid of these guys

(and OMFG, he just said he thinks they look “pretty cool”)

I thought them and their gawdawful song were finally out of my life. Haven’t we suffered enough of this in the 80′s?

Guess not…

That horrific shit is the shit that has a habit of always haunting you all the way through your life, doesn’t it?

Yeah… great… I am doomed with this kid, seriously…

Hasta till tomorrow

Hey Babes! I am out today. I figured having this many days off work (4) I might as well spend one day driving down to my in-the-middle-of-a-nasty-divorce girlfriend in the South of Dutchyland and help her out with some of the DIY-ing she is facing for her new house. So she can get her and her 2 kids out of the old house, and away from Mr Wrong, a.s.a.p. So I will be getting down (or up, not sure yet) and dirty (thát I ám sure of) doing the DIY today. I’ll probably end up painting or wallpapering. We’ll see. The Kid is coming with me, the sweetheart, and has vouched to take on catering on all the peeps DYI-ing. And “yes” Hon, I am bringing a big pan of chili.

So I will be out for the day. Seeing as your -obviously- favorite Dutch chick will be away from the internets today, I will leave you with another Dutchy. A very talented one. Her name is Caro Emerald. She is a 26 yr old jazz-singer and her latest song “A Night Like This” was actually chosen to be featured in a Martini-commercial. I think she is very cool and I love the song. Very cheerful. And Gawd knows we all can do with a bit of cheerful around the internetz!

Enjoy! See you on the flip side!
