After getting the new and improved blog up and running on my own domain, we’re there:
The Dutch-A-Pimpin’ campaign is back on it’s feet!
A while ago I decided to start pimping out fellow bloggers in my sidebar, in an attempt to introduce them into my part of Blogistan and drive traffic to their blogs.
It’s not a new idea, obviously, as many of you -me included- used to participate in Rent My Blog on BlogExplosion. However, BlogExplosion is going thru a total rehaul and Rent My Blog has been pretty much on it’s backside ever since. So for now, I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands.
Anyone can apply, from inside ánd outside of my blogging community. Don’t be shy, I don’t necessarily have to know you to pimp you. I am a whory kinda pimp like that, so no worries there ;-) I will put you up in the sidebar for a week, usually Saturday to Saturday, and write you an introductory post on your first day here. Click here for some examples of pimping posts. I will also try to mention your presence in the Pimpin’ Sidebar a few times thru-out the week.
The goal is obviously to drive some traffic your way, but also to get (part of) my posse -and possibly myself- acquainted with some blogs that are potentially new, or at the very least fairly unknown, to them and expand my part of the blogging community. The more the merrier!
However, if you áre already well known by most of my readers, and you still have the desire to be pimped (who knows, you might be a total pimpin’ whore), that’s ok too! Again: I’m not picky!
